• Dark (aka French, Italian, Espresso) - bold and strong, chocolatey and slightly bitter, less acidity, most surface oil
• Golden (aka Medium-Dark, Viennese, Full City) - caramel-like to slightly fruity or nutty, medium to full-bodied, may have a mix of sweet and bitterness, moderate acidity, less pronounced surface oil
• Medium (aka American, City, Breakfast) - moderate body, sweet, chocolatey, and smooth, may have a mix of acidity and sweetness, balanced acidity, least surface oil
