Pure Baking Soda (Sodium Bicarbonate)
For culinary and household use
Baking soda is considered a versatile product for good reason. Here are just some of its many uses:
1. Baking - can be used in all baked goods.
2. Cooking - a few amount is mixed with meats to act as tenderizer. This is known as velveting.
3. Alkaline drink - can be taken with water orally to reduce acidity.
4. Fruit and vegetable wash - put small amount in a basin of water then soak produce for 15 minutes to remove pesticides and diret.
5. Natural cleaning scrub - use this on its own or mix with vinegar and essential oils to scrub surface areas such as tiles.
