Technique of sowing cabbage seeds
Time to sow seeds:
+ The North is planted a lot in August - October
+ In the South, cabbage seeds are sown for a longer time, from July to April next year.
– Prepare the soil: the soil must be weeded clean, porous, remember to sprinkle fertilizer on the bed surface or you can mix fertilizer with soil.
- Sowing cabbage seeds:
Before sowing seeds, soak the cabbage seeds in hot water about 50 degrees Celsius for 20 minutes. Then, you take it out and soak it back in clean water for 4-6 hours.
+ Please proceed to sow in beds at the rate of 1.5-2g seeds/m2, when sowing, remember to cover with straw to keep the soil moist.
+ If sowing in bad weather conditions, you should use bamboo to cover.
Cabbage care techniques
- Need to water 2 times/day. Regularly remove weeds and pests. When the plant has 4 to 5 leaves, then proceed to pull it out and transplant it into a larger pot
