“PANTAI” Tamarind Paste is used in many type of Asian dishes including noodles, curries, sauces and soups. It can also be used to make a refreshing juice and desserts.
5 Red and Green Bird’s Eye Chilies (seeds removed) finely chopped
½ Tsp. Pantai Sriracha Chili Sauce
½ Tsp. Pantai Fish Sauce
1 Tsp. Pantai Oyster Sauce
2 Tbsps. Water
Preparations
1. For the Tamarind Sauce, Combine all the ingredients together in a pan. Cook medium heat until the mixture starts to become sticky. Remove the pan from the heat and set aside.
2. In Frying Pan, heat oil. Put the prawns into the pan and deep-fry until cooked. Drain excess oil on paper towels.
3. Place deep-fried king prawns on the plate and top with the Tamarind Sauce. Garnish with fried garlic, fried shallots and dried red chilies.
