Tamarind (56%), Water, Acidity Regulator (Citric Acid: E330)

FRIED KING PRAWN WITH TAMARIND PASTE

Ingredients:

Fried King Prawns

5 Large King Prawns

2 Tbsps. Deep-Fried Garlic

2 Tbsps. Crispy Fried Sliced Shallots

5 Dried Red Chilies

Tamarind Sauce

3 Tbsps. Pantai Tamarind Paste

3 Tbsps. Palm Sugar

5 Red and Green Bird’s Eye Chilies (seeds removed) finely chopped

½ Tsp. Pantai Sriracha Chili Sauce

½ Tsp. Pantai Fish Sauce

1 Tsp. Pantai Oyster Sauce

2 Tbsps. Water

Preparations

1. For the Tamarind Sauce, Combine all the ingredients together in a pan. Cook medium heat until the mixture starts to become sticky. Remove the pan from the heat and set aside.

2. In Frying Pan, heat oil. Put the prawns into the pan and deep-fry until cooked. Drain excess oil on paper towels.

3. Place deep-fried king prawns on the plate and top with the Tamarind Sauce. Garnish with fried garlic, fried shallots and dried red chilies.
