Vietnam Arabica is known for its medium to full body with a flavor profile that can include a mild acidity, nutty undertones, and a slightly chocolatey or spicy character. The taste is often smooth and can exhibit hints of caramel or earthiness.

✅ Grind Options:

👉🏻 Fine - for stovetop brewing/panlaga, moka pot, aeropress

👉🏻 Medium - coffeemaker, pour over, siphon

👉🏻 Coarse - french press, percolator, cold brew

❓ Why is it important to know which grind size to use?

If the contact time is too high or the grind is too fine, it will result in an over-extracted brew which can be bitter. If the grind is too coarse or the contact time is too short, the coffee will turn out weak. Finding the proper balance between the two will help in producing the best cup of coffee possible.

👉🏻 Dark

• has a rich, bold flavor

• often has a shiny, oily surface (often with Arabica, seldom with Barako, Excelsa and Robusta)

• notes of dark chocolate, caramel, smoky charred taste, with slight bitterness

• less acidity

👉🏻Regular/Golden

• has a balanced and robust flavor profile

• may still contain some oil on surface

• hints of caramel, chocolate, nuts, and subtle bitterness

• moderate acidity

👉🏻Medium

• has a more rounded flavor, with a balance of acidity and body

• no oil on surface

• may include fruity, nutty, or floral notes
