Kapeng Barako typically features bold and strong tasting notes. It's known for its full-bodied flavor with earthy and nutty undertones, sometimes accompanied by a slightly bitter or dark chocolate-like taste.

✅ Grind Options:

👉🏻 Fine - for stovetop brewing/panlaga, moka pot, aeropress

👉🏻 Medium - coffeemaker, pour over, siphon

👉🏻 Coarse - french press, percolator, cold brew

❓ Why is it important to know which grind size to use?

If the contact time is too high or the grind is too fine, it will result in an over-extracted brew which can be bitter. If the grind is too coarse or the contact time is too short, the coffee will turn out weak. Finding the proper balance between the two will help in producing the best cup of coffee possible.

• hints of caramel, chocolate, nuts, and subtle bitterness

• has a more rounded flavor, with a balance of acidity and body

• no oil on surface

• may include fruity, nutty, or floral notes
