How to Enjoy (Cooking Instructions)
•Microwave: Add 1 cup of water to 1 pack of dry shirataki rice. Microwave on high for 6-7 mins and leave covered for another 3-5 mins.
•Stove Top: Boil 1 cup of water in a non-stick heavy bottom pan and add 1 pack of dry shirataki rice. Turn off heat after 7-8 mins and leave covered for another 3-5 mins
•RICE COOKER: Add 1.5 cups of water to 1 pack of dry shirataki rice.
Note: Avoid overcooking to maintain the ideal texture. Rinse briefly before use for best results!
Localized Serving Ideas for Filipino Cuisine:
•Garlic “Sinangag” Style:Sauté cooked Shirataki Dry Rice with minced garlic, diced onions, and a dash of turmeric for color. Pair with fried egg and grilled fish!
•Chicken Arroz Caldo Twist:Simmer the rice in low-sodium chicken broth with ginger, garlic, shredded chicken, and safflower (kasubha). Top with crispy garlic chips and calamansi.
