Product description
Although grapes can be cultivated in various soils (improved), loam and fine sandy loam are the best, although sandy soil has good air permeability. But the ability to retain fertilizer and water is poor. Loam is between sandy soil and clay soil. Its water and fertilizer retention capacity is strong, most of which are more fertile. When the grape grows vigorously, it is easier to flow flowers and parthenocarpic. When the high temperature and light conditions are good, the fruit is good and the yield is high. When the low temperature and sunshine are not enough, the result is not good and the yield is low; usually pay attention to drainage, avoid exploration tillage, light pruning in winter, and more pruning in summer, and spray borax, potassium dihydrogen phosphate and calcium superphosphate. Clay soil has poor air permeability, but it retains fertilizer and water better, and nutrient decomposition and absorption are slower. There is less prolongation, flow flowers and parthenocarpic phenomenon in the early stage, but it is prone to prolongation in the later stage of development. Although the ears and grains are large, the sugar content and meat quality are often not good. More high-carbon organic matter or a small amount of sand should be added to improve the acid soil. It is best to neutralize the acid soil with an appropriate amount of lime.
We first use clean water to remove the seed coat juice from the collected grape seeds, dry them and store them in a low-temperature, dry place (the refrigerator is fine).
The sowing time of grape seeds is generally between March and April in early spring (florists in the south can choose the time freely); two months before planting, the seeds should be ripened, and the seeds should be mixed with 3 to 4 times the clean river sand and placed in a suitable place. Sand hides under the conditions of temperature, humidity and air. Generally, grape seeds need to be in the low temperature of -3℃~5℃ and wet sand with water content within 5{bf} to complete the post-ripening stage after about 60 days.
During the seed sand storage period, pay attention to check whether the temperature and humidity in the sand are suitable for rodent or insect pests, especially after the Spring Festival, the temperature continues to rise, if the temperature exceeds 5℃ and the humidity exceeds 10{bf}, turn the seeds over 1~ 2 times to prevent mildew.
The method of planting is the same as planting other seeds, there are no special requirements.
The management of potted grapes is more complicated than field cultivation, and the management methods are also different.
1. Watering, watering once a day in summer, and re-watering once at noon when it is wilting. The amount of watering should be just after watering;
2. To fertilize, apply thin fertilizers frequently. Fertilizer types: urea and potassium dihydrogen phosphate, diluted 300 times and irrigate the roots, you can take out a part of the foliage and spray it;
3. Pruning and erecting branches should adopt different tree shapes according to the size of the balcony space. If the space is large, a scaffold can be used, and a fence can be used if the space is small. , Proper trimming, 8-10 knots for extended head cutting, and 4-5 knots for new shoots.
After the grapes are planted, it takes about 3 years until the grapes are set, and the quality will generally decrease, such as the taste is not good, the disease is not resistant, and the like. Therefore, for flower lovers who want to plant grapes, it is recommended to buy seedlings of good varieties or cut directly instead of relying on grape seeds, because the quality is not good for 3 years, so why bother to do so.
