Product description
Hyclens Skin Cleanser is an antiseptic wash that contains 4% Chlorhexidine digluconate which prevents nosocomial infections, one of the most frequent complications of medical treatment leading to mortality. Aside from intensively cleansing and disinfecting the skin from wide range of external environmental contaminants, it also prevents from endogenous infections which originates from the patient's own skin environment.
Size Availability: 60 mL and 1 Liter
Indications:
General skin and wound cleanser with persistent antimicrobial activity
Skin diseases and unusual skin conditions such as acne and body odor
Healthcare personnel hand wash prior to patient care and surgery
Preoperative skin preparation
Directions for Use:
General skin and wound cleanser: Rinse the area to be cleansed. Apply enough amount of Hyclens necessary to cover the area and work into a lather on skin like liquid soap. Rinse thoroughly.
For skin diseases and unusual skin conditions: Wet affected area and apply enough amount of Hyclens and work into a lather on skin like liquid soap. Rinse thoroughly.
For Healthcare personnel hand wash: Wet hands with water. Dispense about 5 mL of Hyclens and scrub vigorously for 30 seconds. Rinse thoroughly.
Preoperative skin preparation: Wet body and work onto skin from the neck down with enough amount of Hyclens once daily for three consecutive days prior to surgery.
Contraindications:
Hypersensitivity to chlorhexidine or to any of the ingredients.
Precautions:
Keep out of reach of children.
If symptoms persist, consult a physician.
Interaction with other medicinal products and other forms of interactions:
Prolonged effect is inhibited if combined with iodine preparations
