Polituff Polyester Body Filler w/ hardener - GALLON

Polituff Body Filler is an impact and shock-resistant polyester body filler, which sets hard in minutes into a tough and flexible mass, making it ideal for use in correcting and repairing dents, holes, leaks and flaws.

When properly mixed and applied, it has an excellent flexibility, adhesion, hardness, heat resistance and sanding property.

DIRECTION FOR USE:

1. Preparation - using a 16-24 grit sanding disc, grind or sand all sections of the surfaces to be filled to a clean surface or bare metal completely free from wax, oil, grease, rust, moisture, and other foreign matters.

2. Mixing - place the required amount of filler on a clean and hard surface. Add hardener according to prescribed mixing proportion: 1 can Filler to 1 tube hardener (so that 1/2 can filler requires 1/2 tube hardener). Mix thoroughly with a body-filler applicator or putty knife until a uniform color-change is attained.

3. Application - using the body filler applicator or putty knife, firmly and speedily spread a thin layer of filler over the prepared surface area to assure a strong bond, then immediately build up to any desired thickness - by pressing and forming the fuller according to the contour of the surface.

Allow the applied filler to set hard for about 20 to 30 minutes after application, then hand sand or machine sand to a smooth texture, after which it is now ready for priming and painting.
