Product Introduction of Organic White Adlai - High Protein Grain from Philippines 1
DESCRIPTION:
Locally grown and cultivated in the highlands of the Philippines and internationally known as Job's Tears, Adlai is an heirloom local grain that is native to Southeast Asia and the Philippines. It is a high altitude crop that is grown where rice and corn do not grow well.
Adlai rice, also known as Job’s tears or "adlay," is an ancient grain that has been gaining popularity as a nutritious and versatile alternative to regular rice. Native to Southeast Asia, Adlai rice is prized for its hearty texture, mild flavor, and impressive health benefits, making it an excellent choice for those seeking a wholesome and satisfying grain.
BUT WAIT, THERE'S MORE!
Our Organic White Adlai contains 3 times more energy than rice, and 6 times more protein. More similar to Quinoa, it is slightly nutty, slightly sweet, and creamy in texture.
BENEFITS:
• Rich in fiber, Adlai rice helps keep you fuller for longer, aiding and promoting digestive health.
•Boosts Energy: Its high carbohydrate content provides a steady release of energy, making it an excellent choice for active individuals and those with busy lifestyles.
•Promotes Heart Health: The grain’s low glycemic index and high fiber content contribute to better heart health by helping to manage cholesterol levels and support healthy blood pressure.
Adlai rice is more than just a rice alternative—it’s a nutrient-rich supergrain that can elevate your meals and contribute to a healthier. Perfect for those looking to diversify their grain options, Adlai rice offers both taste and health benefits in every serving.

COUNTRY ORIGIN: PHILIPPINES
HOW TO PREPARE:
Cook as how you would like your rice to be. Only use a 1:2 ratio for adlai to water. Using a conventional rice cooker, set the time to 30 to 40 minutes until light and fluffy. Use Farm To Folk Adlai as a healthy swap to regular rice! Or mix with your Superfood or salad bowls: savory or sweet, they pair well together.
