Sunflower seed are the seeds of the sunflower. There are three types of commonly used sunflower seeds: linoleic, high oleic, and sunflower oil seeds. Sunflower seeds are a good or excellent source of nearly a dozen essential vitamins and minerals.
Eat as plain snack. Use them to add some extra crunch to salads, soups, or cereals. Toast or roast them in any spice or seasoning for a healthy snack.
