White Quinoa has the lightest flavor and fluffiest texture of all the quinoas, it is also the most versatile. It can be used in salads, grain bowls, sweets, baked goods, and more.
‣ Can be consumed on its own, as ingredients for recipes, or substitute for rice.
‣ Rinse ½ cup of quinoa in cold water and drain.
‣ Cook in a covered pot with 1 cup of water over high heat. Bring to a boil and decrease heat to maintain a simmer. Cook for around 10-20 mins.
‣ Rest by removing the pot from the heat and leaving it covered for 5-10 minutes.
‣ Fluff with a fork and enjoy your quinoa!
