Works as advertised. Have used more expensive options, and they don't work at all with Windows 11 and others. Build feels alright, and the cable could be longer, but I'm just being nitpicky at this point.

1. Q: Why can't my computer/laptop detect the external drive?
A: If you are a desktop computer, please connect the drive to the USB port on the motherboard. Do not plug it into the USB adapter port, as the power supply may not be sufficient to keep the drive running. Please restart the computer/laptop normally or change to a different USB port. Check to see if the LED lights are on or listen carefully to see if the drive is spinning the disc inside. This drive supports plug and play, no additional drives are required. Please contact me if all of these methods fail to make it work.
2. Q: The driver cannot be separated from the computer control or press the eject button, my CD is stuck inside, how to deal with this situation?
A: Restart the computer or unplug the optical drive interface, and then power on again to see if the optical drive can be ejected. You can also use the clip end, push it into the small hole on the front panel, and force the optical drive to eject the disc tray in an emergency.
3. Q: Can you plug it into a new car that has usb but no cd player to play cd?
A: No, it cannot play CDs in your car if connected to a sound system, it is not a car DVD player. It is an external CD/DVD drive that can only be connected to a laptop or computer. You have to install external software like Nero, ISO Recorder, Ashampoo, ImgBurn - these will allow to use the full potential of this product.
