DESCRIPTION
Comb binding is the most popular bookbinding method seen in schools, libraries, and offices. Quick and simple, comb binding offers a basic closure for documents up to 425 (Depending on the Binder that you will use) pages that can lay flat for reading or photocopying. Plastic combs can also be customized with a name or logo. Plastic comb binding, also called GBC binding, is the most common of the punch and bind styles. It is a relatively easy process and is the same for almost all manual comb binding machines. Electric comb binding machines are similar but simply have push-button controls rather than a lever.
HOW TO USE
•Make sure the comb binding machine is placed stably on a safe workbench before use. Make adjustments to the comb binding machine, such as adjusting the comb opener size, the margin depth, and disengaging the punching die.
•Collect together all the documents that need to be punched. This includes the papers, the front cover, and the back cover.
•Insert some sheets of paper to be punched. Insert approximately 80% of the maximum amount the machine is capable of punching. Then pull the handle and punch the sheets to make holes.
•Place the comb on the machine’s comb opener.
•Push the handle lever to open the comb.
•Insert the opened combs spines through the holes in the sheets.
•Release the comb opener and close the comb.
•The book binding is completed and you’re now ready to move on to your next document project!

•Avoid punching card stock papers
•Before punching, make sure there are no staple wires to ensure that they won't get stuck in the machine.
•Use the suggested max punching rate for the best result
