Introducing PolyTerra PLA - The Eco-Friendly Filament for Next-Generation Printing
Say goodbye to harmful plastic waste and hello to sustainable 3D printing with PolyTerra PLA. Designed with the environment in mind, this PLA-based filament offers a groundbreaking solution for those seeking both ease of use and high-quality results.
Join Our Mission: Buy PolyTerra PLA and Plant One Tree
With every purchase of a PolyTerra PLA spool, you are contributing to the reforestation efforts supported by ONETREEPLANTED. For each spool bought, a tree will be planted in the region where the purchase was made. Help us make a positive impact on the planet, one filament at a time.
Cost-Effective and Eco-Friendly - The Best of Both Worlds
Whether you're looking for a filament that is gentle on your budget or one that minimizes environmental impact, PolyTerra PLA is the perfect choice. This filament not only offers excellent print quality but also serves as an easily removable support material, providing added convenience during your printing process.
A Commitment to Sustainability
At Polymaker, we are dedicated to combatting plastic waste, and PolyTerra PLA is just the beginning of our journey towards creating more eco-sustainable products. We are determined to migrate all our products in this direction, ensuring a greener future for the 3D printing community.
From Earth, Back to Earth - The Lifecycle of PolyTerra PLA
PolyTerra PLA is derived from abundant and rapidly renewable plant resources through the process of fermentation and transformation. These plant sugars are converted into Ingeo, a performance thermoplastic tailored for filament production and printing. By utilizing these resources, we minimize our reliance on fossil fuels, reduce carbon emissions, and contribute to a circular economy.
Reducing Our Carbon Footprint
We take pride in the environmental impact of PolyTerra PLA. The filament, packaging, spool, and box have an estimated carbon footprint of around 4kg of CO2. To put this into perspective, a single tree offsets approximately 22kg of CO2 per year. Together, we can make a real difference.
Achieve optimal printing results with PolyTerra PLA using our recommended settings. Set your print temperature between 190-230 °C, adjust your printing speed to 30-70 mm/s, and ensure a bed temperature of 25-60 °C. Don't forget to turn on your fan for the best performance.
Degrading for a Greener Tomorrow
PolyTerra PLA degrades under specific industrial composting conditions, with the rate depending on the size and thickness of the printed part. By creating this filament, we are taking a step towards a more sustainable future.
