What is a Word Search?

A word search is a word game. It is also called world sleuth, word seek, wonder word, mystery word, or word finder. The objective of each puzzle is to find and mark all the word's hidden within a field of random letters in a grid. The words may be hidden in any direction, never skipping letters. The words read forward, backward, up, down, and diagonally, but always in a straight line; sometimes the word bends at 90 degrees (snaking puzzles), not a straight horizontal, vertical, or diagonal line.
