Yup it's photochromic alright. Its just feels like a used or old, it changes but not too dark. The fade is so light that it's almost useless. The packaging was also so lousy. If there was a rating on how dark it turns from 1-10( 1 as clear, 10 is Black ) I'd say about 3. That's how dark it is.
