TKL Lannate is a broad-spectrum carbamate insecticide with strong contact and stomach action, used to control a range of insect pests in various crops. The active ingredient in this product is Methomyl, and the formulation typically contains 400g/kg of Methomyl with inert ingredients making up the remainder.
It's registered for use on multiple crops, including asparagus, banana, beans, corn, sorghum, eggplant, melons, mungbeans, rice, string beans, soybean and tomato. The product is effective against a variety of pests such as armyworm, cutworm, thrips, flea beetle, bean fly, podborer, aphids, corn borer, earworm, fruitworm, green leafhopper, caseworm, leaffolder, budworm, hornworm, and tomato fruitworm.
The recommended usage rates vary depending on the crop and pests targeted, ranging from 20-35 grams per 16-liter tankload for most applications. It's important to note the last application to harvest days for each crop to ensure safe usage.
