Taco Cat Goat Cheese Pizza Card Game Fun Family Game

Shuffle the cards. Deal all of the cards face down to the players so each player gets the same number of cards.

The player to the left of the dealer will start the game.

Playing the Game

On a player’s turn they will flip over the top card from their stack of cards. The card should be turned face up away from them in order to prevent cheating. As they are turning the card over they will say the next word in the following sequence: Taco, Cat, Goat, Cheese, Pizza. For example the first player will say “Taco”, the second will say “Cat” and so on. If there isn’t a match the next player to the left will flip over their card

If the card that is played by the player matches the word said by the player, a match has been made. At this point all of the players race to slap the cards in the middle of the table. The last player to slap the cards will take all of the cards from the pile and add them to the bottom of their own pile. The loser will then start the next round by revealing a card and saying “Taco”.

When a player has run out of cards in their hand, they will list off the next object in the sequence on their turn and if it matches the top card in the pile the players will slap the pile.

In addition to being last to slap the pile there are a number of other penalties that players can incur. If a player commits any of these penalties they will have to take all of the cards from the pile.

If a player incorrectly slaps the pile or even starts to before catching themselves.

If a player breaks the steady rhythm of the game by taking too long to take their turn.

If a player turns a card face up in their direction (so they can see it before the other players).

Special Cards

The game has three special cards which when flipped up force players to take a special action in order to avoid picking up all of the cards in the middle of the table. When one of these cards are revealed all of the players have to take the corresponding action and then slap the pile of cards. The last player to do the action will have to pick up all of the cards. If a player performs the wrong action they will also have to pick up all of the cards.
