About basketball maintenance:
A. Water is the natural enemy of basketball. Usually, you need to be careful not to let the basketball get wet, and don't play in the rain.
The life of the basketball is heavy, and the basketball will leave internal injuries, and the wet basketball is easy to open the glue.
B. Do not play basketball with your feet or sit on the basketball to rest, let alone press the basketball with heavy objects
C. After the basketball is used, wipe the surface of the ball with a cloth, do not wash it with water, and store it in a cool and dry place.
D. Use a special air needle to wet it and slowly insert it into the ball mouth to inflate. It is forbidden to directly inflate with a high-pressure air pump. The inflation pressure should be between 7-9 pounds. Do not inflate too much, which will easily lead to the deformation of the basketball bulge. Test method: On a flat hard surface, the basketball falls freely from a height of 18 meters (the lower part of the basketball), and the rebound height should be between 1.2 meters and 14 meters (the upper part of the basketball).
E. Due to water or other reasons, if there is glue opening, remember not to use 502 glue, it will cause the surface of the basketball to oxidize and harden, which will affect the feel. It needs to be glued with reconciled glue, and the glue opening needs to be wiped clean before sticking.
F. Choose basketballs of different series/materials according to different venues.
Wooden floor: Cowhide, PU Plastic floor: PU, PVC Cement floor: PU PVC rubber Sand and gravel floor: Rubber Note: Outdoor PU basketball is suitable for smooth concrete court, please choose rubber basketball for uneven sand and gravel.
G. The newly bought basketballs are protected by a thin layer of wax, so the new balls will feel slippery and lack elasticity. This is a normal phenomenon. The wax on the surface will gradually wear off during use, and the hand will feel better and better.
