This book contains much profound wisdom on the Church’s understanding and commitment to interreligious dialogue. This “primer on interfaith relations” deserves a careful reading as well as a sincere effort to integrate its vision into our current practice of the Catholic faith. Dialogue is a difficult undertaking; it has its frustrations as well as its rewards. It is, in fact, a “faith journey,” requiring patience and commitment. However, it is not optional, because, as Saint John Paul II has noted, it is an integral part of the Church’s evangelizing mission. We fervently pray: Veni, Creator Spiritus. Come, Holy Spirit!
