Steps for installing the decal:
Clean the surface: The first step is to thoroughly clean the area where you’ll place the decal. Use a microfiber cloth and mild soap and water or rubbing alcohol to remove dirt, dust, and oils. It's best if the surface is clean to ensure the sticker sticks properly.
Plan the position: Before removing the backing from the sticker, adjust it to the position where you want it placed. You can use a measuring tool to make sure it’s even or centered. If necessary, place a small piece of masking tape to help position the decal.
Remove the backing paper: Slowly peel off the backing of the sticker from one edge. Be careful not to tear the sticker or the backing paper.
Apply the sticker: Start applying the sticky side of the sticker to the surface. It's best to do this slowly and carefully, starting from one edge, and stick it evenly. Use a credit card or any flat tool to evenly press the sticker and remove air bubbles.
Remove air bubbles: If there are air bubbles, use the credit card or flat tool to push them from the center towards the edges. If needed, you can gently puncture the bubbles with a needle to release the air and make the sticker lay flat.
Remove the transfer tape: If the sticker has transfer tape (a clear layer on top of the sticker), carefully remove it after the sticker is properly placed. Remove it slowly to avoid pulling off the sticker.
Press down one last time: After removing the transfer tape, press down on the sticker again with the credit card to ensure it sticks well.
If the decal is large, you can use the "wet method" (spray a little water on the surface before applying) to give yourself a chance to adjust the sticker before it dries.
Avoid placing the sticker in areas that are extremely hot or cold, as this may affect its adhesive properties.
