Mondo Skimcoat Powder SK-1 is a specially formulated free-flowing white powder to be mixed with water to form to a paste that is used to fill up cracks and achieve smooth and even concrete surfaces. It is also sag resistant – perfect for ceiling, beams and other overhead application. FEATURES • Smoothens Masonry Surfaces • Resistant to Hairline Cracks • Alkali Resistant •Excellent Adhesion to Masonry Paints • Easy and Convenient to use just add water • Optimum Pot Life for Easy Workability SURFACE PREPARATION • Ensure that the surface is structurally sound and free of dust, oil, laitance, paint, curing compound, algae and mildew. • Scrape off loose material and dust with a wire brush. • Remove algae and mildew with an appropriate cleaner and wash with soap and water. APPLICATION • Light water misting of the concrete surface is recommended before applying the MONDO Skimcoat SK-1 water mixture. • Surface sanding the applied area is not necessary but slight sanding may be done to correct unevenness. Avoid continuous heavy sanding as this results to excessive dust. Ensure that all dust and dirt is completely wiped off. • Cure for 24 hours and finish with the recommended painting system for skimcoat-applied masonry surfaces.
