Product Details:

•Mondo Skimcoat (SK-3) is a one-component ready-to-use acrylic skimcoat paste.

•Easy to apply, eliminates minor masonry surface imperfections, and produces a smooth durable surface base for paints.

•It can be applied in both exterior and interior walls and ceilings while maintaining good elasticity.

•It is sag resistant perfect for ceiling, beams and other overhead applications.

•Skimcoat Type: 1 Component Acrylic Based

•Practical Coverage: 4-5m²/kg./coat (depends on porosity and uneveness of surface)

•Drying Time: 30 mins. (depends on skimcoat thickness)

•Method of Application: Steel Trowel

Surface Preparation:

•Ensure that the surface is structurally sound and clean from dust, oil, algae mildew, etc.

•Remove algae and mildew with an appropriate cleaner and wash with soap and water.

•Scrape off loose material with a wire brush.

•New concrete must be cured at least 7 days.

•Damage concrete surfaces, seams and rock pockets that exceeds 3mm must be treated before application.

•Application: Apply 1 coat with a stainless steel trowel.

•Allow sufficient drying time before applying the second coat in order to prevent drawn off of the previous coat.

•Use sandpaper to polish the surface. Allow curing time of 24 hours before painting.

Notes:

•Do not add any chemicals and cement

•Not recommended to be applied on floor surface.

•Do not apply on painted surfaces.

•Do not apply on damp or hot-substrate.
