Product Details:
•Konstrukt® Permaplast™ High-Performance Acrylic Skimcoat is a high performance, acrylic-based special bonding paste for interior and exterior use that is mixed with cement and applied on concrete to correct surface imperfections prior to painting. It repairs bubbles, honeycomb and concrete defects on waviness and plumbness from 1mm to 3mm thick.
Principal Uses:
•Fixes wall imperfections from 1mm to 3mm thick.
•Minimize the use of putty during application.
•Minimizes cracking and improve water resistance.
•Excellent paint compatibility.
•Improves alkali resistance.
•Imparts a luxurious smooth look.
•Ideal for high-end coatings
•Practical Coverage: 25 sq. m./ pail/ coat
•Surface Dry: 30 min.
•Application: Apply with trowel or putty knife.
•Potlife: Thirty (30) minutes.
•Packaging: Available in 16-liter and 4-liter cans.
MIXING PROCEDURE:
Put Konstrukt® Permaplast™ High-Performance Skimcoat on a suitable container (plastic bucket) and mix it with cement at 1:1 ratio by weight until a lump-free homogeneous paste is reached. Pot-life is thirty (30) minutes. Do not add water. Use Portland cement (for ordinary cement color) or white cement (to produce a white finish).
APPLICATION:
Using a steel trowel, apply the mixture thinly on the surface by pressing the edge of the trowel firmly on the concrete until all areas are covered.
Let it dry for at least 30 minutes before applying the second coat (if necessary).
If trowel marks are visible, let surface dry for at least 30 minutes before sanding to further smooth surfaces.
No need to neutralize the surface.
Note: Do not apply on painted surfaces.
