Odor & Fly Powder is a mixture of organic materials that contains a consortium of beneficial fungi, nitrifying bacteria and other beneficial microorganisms that facilitate the decomposition of manures without emitting odor. It also has a larvicidal property that terminates the life cycle of fly maggots while in the litter. Flies are vulnerable in their larval stage and this is where Odor & Fly Powder works best in the litter bed. 

 

As an organic and microbial-based material, fast-kill result on maggots is not to be expected as instantaneous because microbes need time to grow and proliferate before results can be seen or obtained in the litter bed. Within two to three days maggots will be eliminated.

 

Odor & Fly Powder works well in frequently or severely wet litters which normally emit high levels of ammonia and hydrogen sulfide odor. Wet litters serve as breeding grounds of flies where larva thrive till maturity. 1 kilo can cover 200 to 250sqm of litter bed space if added with limestone at 1:5 ratio.
