What Are Antioxidants?

Antioxidants are nutrients that help fight free radicals and assist in maintaining good health.† Free radicals are unstable compounds that can occur naturally in our bodies as by-products of metabolism. Vitamins C & E are both antioxidants. Vitamin C is water soluble and Vitamin E is fat soluble. Vitamin E can also naturally be found on the outermost skin surface.
