Usually the four strings of UKULELE are tuned to (4-1) GCEA. The fourth string is G. The fourth string has a higher pitch than the third string, etc. But in this tuning, the range is not very large and there is no bass. So, there is a kind of string called low G. After changing the fourth string to low G, the fourth string will have bass.
