10*cells 48V Wrench Battery:

10 cells battery set. Each battery set is made up with 5 cells of power battery and 5 cells of capacity battery [capacity cells protect the power cells]. When the wrench works, the motor power will be 48V. However, if you just test the battery set, only 21V shows, because the 5 capacity battery cells cannot be detected. This design is for the safety protection to avoid overheat fire or explosion, that's why the output of its charger also shows 21V.

5*cells 48V Drill Battery:

Each battery set is made up with 3 cells of power battery and 2 cells of capacity battery [capacity cells protect the power cells]. When the drill works, the motor power will be 48V. However, if you just test the battery set, only 21V shows, because the 2 capacity battery cells cannot be detected. This design is for the safety protection to avoid overheat fire or explosion, that's why the output of its charger also shows 21V.

Both require the charger's output at least from 21V.
