HISTORY The history of how Heno de Pravia was created, it is told that in the late 1800's, an executive of a soap factory was visiting the Spanish town of Pravia, where he noticed the pleasant smell of someone cutting Heno (a type of grass), he loved it and when he got back to his lab, he had the people in Madrid re-produce this aroma, of freshly cut heno, he blended the aroma with geranium, lavender and some sandalwood and for the final touch, he made it green, mossy green.
