Exterior is made of water repellant material, the straps are atleast 1.5inches wide and very sturdy. Regarding the internal structure the bigger compartment is well built but the zipper pockets on front just need a little tidying on the stitching. OVER ALL THIS BAG IS A MIST HAVE.
