"Ang Bible" is an interconfessional project na pinagtulungan ng ibat-ibang mga religious group base sa Guiding Principles for Interconfessional Cooperation in Translating the Bible, na pinagkasunduan ng Secretariat for Promoting Christian Unity at ng United Bible Societies noong 1968. Meaning-based ang approach na ginamit sa Pinoy Version; ang kahulugan ng source text ang pinapalabas at hindi ang form.
Ang bawat Bible translation ng PBS ay hindi tinatrabaho nang solo dahil ang language gift ng Diyos ay communal. Kaya bukod sa team ng mga translator, maingat din na nagkaroon ng mga series ng check sa community, review ng mga expert sa wikang Filipino, at consultation sa mga scholar ng biblical languages. Kaya naman sa tulong ng ating mapagpalang Diyos, narito na ang pinakabago at mapagkakatiwalaang Bible para sa mga Pilipino!
