The KBX054S battery equalizer is used to connect batteries in series so that the batteries maintain equal voltage when charging or discharging. When the batteries work in series, the battery voltage may vary due to the different composition and temperature of each battery. The self-discharge rate of each battery is also different. Therefore, the voltage of the series-connected batteries will be different even if the batteries are not working. These differences can cause the batteries to be unbalanced, which means that 1 battery may be overloaded while the other is undercharged. As the batteries are repeatedly charged and discharged, the voltage difference will become larger and larger, eventually leading to premature damage to the battery.
The KBX054S battery equalizer is an energy transfer type equalizer, which can compensate for the voltage of the batteries on both sides. When the voltage difference between the two batteries is 10mV, the equalizer starts to work.
The current will flow from the side with higher voltage to the side with lower voltage, and finally reach balance. The battery system can be connected 24 hours a day, automatically maintaining the energy balance of the system without manual maintenance.
The KBX054S battery equalizer adopts an aluminum alloy shell design, which is more conducive to component heat dissipation. Plug-in terminal blocks and 1-meter extension cable are more convenient for users to install.
Suitable for 4-8 strings of 2.5V lithium titanate batteries, 3.2V lithium iron phosphate batteries, and 3.7V ternary lithium batteries.
