What is MSG?
AJI-NO-MOTO Umami Seasoning is pure MSG or pure monosodium glutamate that brings out the natural deliciousness of any kind of dishes giving it the savory "linamnam" taste or umami.
How MSG is made.
AJI-NO-MOTO Umami Seasoning is made from natural ingredients such as sugarcane, cassava and corn fermented to become MSG. This process is the same way how vinegar, wine, and yogurt are made.
MSG as a tool for sodium reduction
AJI-NO-MOTO Umami Seasoning only contains 30% or 1/3 sodium compared to table salt. By adding MSG and reducing salt in cooking will help lessen sodium intake without sacrificing deliciousness of dishes.
