PROTAGONISTS OF THE CHRISTIANIZATION OF THE PHILIPPINES
A three-volume historical anthology on the Christianization of the Philippines with contributions from more than 60 Religious Congregations/Orders, Catholic Lay Movements, and Covenanted Communities.
This 3-volume book will help readers to learn and appreciate the truth about the priceless contributions of many unknown, under appreciated, and even maligned champions of Christianization to the spiritual welfare of the Filipinos and developments in the country's science, arts and culture, technology, and social institutions.
The first volume is dedicated to the first eight Religious Orders that contributed much to the pioneering works of evangelization in the Philippines.
The second volume (2A and 2B) features the next wave of Religious Orders and Congregations that began evangelizing in the country between the late 19th century and the early 20th century.
The third volume focuses on the new evangelization during the latter part of the 20th century up to the present with the advent of the lay movements and communities.
