•1. Place the plastic tip on the edge of the sharpening stick on a firm surface.

•Apply light downward pressure during use to prevent slipping.

•2. Place the root of the blade on top of the sharpening bar at your preferred 20 degree angle.

•Sharpen the knife from heel to tip, repeat 2-3 times,

•Then turn the other side of the knife until the blade is sharp.
