The most common type of Rare-Earth Magnet is the Neodymium-Iron-Boron Magnet (also known as Neodymium Magnets, Neodym, NdFeB, or Neo magnet), which is produced from an alloy of neodymium, iron, and boron.
Neodymium magnets are the most powerful commercialized permanent magnets available today, with maximal energy products ranging from 30 MGOe to 52 MGOe, as well as high remanence and coercivity (the resistance of a magnetic material to changes in magnetization, equivalent to the field intensity necessary to demagnetize the fully magnetized material).
