Product description
NexGard chews can be given once a month, with or without food. They start eliminating fleas within just 4 hours of dosing, and eliminate fleas all month long. They also eliminate ticks, and are proven effective at preventing Borrelia burgdorferi infections in dogs by eliminating Ixodes scapularis vector ticks.
NexGard (afoxolaner) is for use in dogs only and is safe for dogs 8 weeks or older and weighing 4 pounds or more. The most frequently reported adverse reactions include vomiting, itching, lethargy, diarrhea, and lack of appetite. The safe use of NexGard in pregnant, breeding, or lactating dogs has not been evaluated. Use with caution in dogs with a history of seizures or neurologic disorders.
