How to take care of dry flowers
Whether you are dry flowers or arranged dried flowers, or a single dried flowers used in a craft project, you have to take care of them so they last as long as possible. Although dried flowers last for a long time, they won't last forever. However, some simple steps can extend their lifespan. Plan to replace dried flowers in a few years or when it starts to look worn.
Step 1 - Show dry flowers indoors and protect them from elements. Keep them away from direct sunlight and bright areas of light as this causes the color to fade and make the flowers crisp.
Step 2 - Avoid keeping dried flowers in a room with high humidity. This can cause them to become brittle, brown, or even moldy.
Step 3 - Use a hair dryer with a low-speed hair dryer to clean the drying arrangement. Use the "No Heat" setting to avoid damaging the flowers.
Step 4 - Find storage space for dry flowers in a room other than the basement or loft. Long-term exposure to heat and humidity can cause dry flowers to rot faster.
Step 5 - Sealed dry flower storage box is good. Do not store dried flowers in plastic.
