Laminating film is made of a base film, such as polyester or PVC, and is then coated with an adhesive. Adhesives can be activated either by thermal heat or by high-pressure. This coated film is wound around a cardboard core, which is loaded into your roll laminator. Generally, roll laminators use sets of two rolls – one on top and one on bottom. Your documents are fed in between these two rolls and the laminator uses heat and/or pressure to activate the adhesive, creating your laminated document.

✔️ Choose a laminating machine that suits your needs.
✔️ Turn on the machine set the laminator in HOT Mode and allow it to warm up.

✔️ Place the laminating pouch containing the document inside the carrier. The sealed end of the pouch should be snug against the sealed end of the carrier.
✔️ Feed the carrier through the machine.
✔️ Insert the sealed end first until the machine grabs it. Don't force the carrier through the machine; it must go slowly enough for the machine to fuse the sheets.
???? (NOTE: PLEASE DO NOT PUT THE OPEN END INTO MACHINE FIRST OR ELSE THE LAMINATED ITEM WILL BE RUFFLED OR THE POUCH FILM WILL WRAP AROUND THE ROLLERS) .
✔️ Allow the pouch to cool before removing it from the carrier and trim the edges if needed using a paper cutter or scissors.
⚠️ The film cannot be laminated single sided, it requires the use of top and bottom film
⚠️ Set the recommended temperature on your machine for the required temperature of the laminating film
⚠️ Insert the film on the machine on the right position, it may damage the machine if the film sticks on the heat roller
