Frequently Asked Questions
After being charged for several hours, why aren't the solar string lights turning on?
The solar panel charges only when the switch is turned on. If the lights are not working, place the device under the sun for an hour and then cover the entire solar panel. If the light is still off, make sure the switch is on. If it's not, press the button once more, let the device sit in the sun for another hour, cover the solar panel, and it should illuminate.
Make sure the solar panel is placed in a spot with direct sunlight, not in a shaded area, so that it can capture the sun's rays. Avoid positioning it close to bright artificial lights, like street lamps, as this may trigger the automatic shut-off feature.
