The Solar PV Cable is a versatile single-conductor cable that is designed to meet the varying needs of the Solar Industry. It is available in twin and single core options, with a diameter of 6mm2 and 4mm2. The cable is rated for 600, 1000, or 2000 V and is suitable for both ac and dc systems. It is also rated for 90°C, 105°C, 125°C, or 150°C dry and 90°C wet.
The PV wire is made of 12 AWG - 2000 kcmil stranded aluminum or copper-clad aluminum, or 18 AWG - 2000 kcmil stranded copper, tined copper conductors. This makes it a reliable and durable option for Solar PV cables. The cable is also RoHS compliant and flame resistant with VW-1.
