Directions for dyeing: 

-This Dye must be dissolved in boiling water to get the best results with greatest possible fastness. 

-Wash article (cloth) and rinse well. 

-Use any vessel (except Galvanized container) large enough to avoid crowding. 

-Fill vessel with enough lukewarm water to completely cover article. 

-Dissolve the contents of this package of dye thoroughly in a little hot water and add to dyebath. Put damp article into a dyebath. 

-Boil article in this solution for ten minutes stirring constantly. -Then add four (4) tbsps of common salt for each gallon of water used. 

-Boil for 20 minutes. Stirring. Constantly during entire process. 

-Remove article, rinse until water runs almost colorless. 

-Hang item to dry; not in direct sunlight.
