SOBATIAO is a vegetarian/vegan dried product that is used as substitute for meat.
It s a defatted soy flour product, a by-product of extracting soybean oil. It is often used as a meat analogue or meat extender. It is quick to cook, with a protein content comparable to certain meats.
Soak until tender and soft. Wash and squeeze for about 3 to 4 times. Marinate with soy sauce, salt, pepper and seasoning. Pan-fry or fry.
Other marinate options: Oyster sauce, Vegetarian BBQ sauce, salt and pepper.
