AJI-NO-MOTO Umami Seasoning is made from natural ingredients such as sugarcane, cassava and corn fermented to become MSG. This process is the same way how vinegar, wine, and yogurt are made. How much MSG to use. 1 pack (11g sachet) of AJI-NO-MOTO Umami Seasoning is good for 1 kg of main ingredients like meat, seafood/fish, or vegetables. MSG as a tool for sodium reduction AJI-NO-MOTO Umami Seasoning only contains 30% or 1/3 sodium compared to table salt. By adding MSG and reducing salt in cooking will help lessen sodium intake without sacrificing deliciousness of dishes.
