Press and hold the release button in and lower the handle down as far as it goes. 2. The strap can now be pulled out around the load and the fittings connected to solid anchor points. 3. Pull the release button and place the handle in the upright position. 4. Let go of the release button and tighten the strap by ratcheting the handle. 5. A minimum of 2 full wraps around the strap reel is recommended for safety to secure the load and so the tie down can function correctly. 6. To lock, leave the handle in the lock position. 7. To release, simply push the release button again and push the handle completely closed.
