- Gawgaw or Multi-Purpose Starch or Clothes Starch is used as a thickening agent for clothes, and is sometimes used in cooking and other household purposes.
- Sold per pouch with 12 individually -packed pouch with 45 grams each pack
- Pag-aalmirol or starching is the practice of washing and rinsing linen and fabrics with starch to keep them fresh and clean after drying and ironing.
- Some households still do it today using Liwayway Gawgaw.
- How to use: Mix with boiling water. Dip clothes in the starch solution and dry under the sun. Before ironing, sprinkle water on the clothes and roll up.
