The use of loose powder in your makeup routine is vital when you use a liquid foundation specially on a daily basis. I can breakdown its importance in three points. First, it will set the makeup on your skin making your makeup last longer. Second, its fine powder will settle into lines and wrinkles better than a pressed powder. Last, it decreases the effect of oily skin because loose powders contain lesser oil.

7. I prefer using it over my liquid foundation because it was able to minimize the cakey look of the foundation. My skin looked smoother and more flawless. It can be used alone to decrease oil and for a little coverage but its best used over foundation whether liquid, powder or cream.

How To use:

Dip the puff into the powder. A powder puff is a flat, puffy pad that comes in some powder compacts. It's usually palm-sized. To use, add a generous amount of powder to the puff. Dip it into the powder and don’t knock the excess off by tapping the puff against the lid.

1. If you're buying your own powder puff, look for one that's about the size of your palm.

2. Apply the powder lightly at first. Applying the powder lightly at first will prevent the puff from smudging your makeup.

Tap the puff lightly all over your face. Then press more firmly after a light layer has been applied.

3.Fold the puff in half for small or narrow areas.

If you’re applying powder under your eyes or around your nose, fold the puff in half.

Then apply the powder as usual. A smaller puff gives you more control and prevents you from getting powder in places you don’t want it.
