Nexgard Anti Tick & Flea with Sticker for DOGS SOLD PER TABLET

NexGard is a beef-flavored monthly soft chewable that kills adult fleas and is indicated for the treatment and prevention of flea infestations (Ctenocephalides felis) and the treatment and control of Black-legged (deer) tick (Ixodes scapularis), American dog tick (Dermacentor variabilis), Lone Star tick (Amblyomma Americanum) and Brown dog tick (Rhipicephalus sanguineus) infestations in dogs and puppies 8 weeks of age and older, weighing 4 pounds of body weight or greater, for one month.

NexGard Chewables for Dogs helps prevent flea infestations by killing adult fleas fast before they even have a chance to lay eggs. It is recommended by veterinarians and FDA-approved to help prevent infections that cause Lyme disease in dogs. It may also help kill infected black-legged ticks before Lyme infection can be transmitted. Each fast-acting chew provides safe and effective protection, killing fleas and ticks for a full month. And since NexGard comes in a beef-flavored soft chew, it's easy to give to your pet as a tasty treat or disguise in your pet's favorite wet food. NexGard is gentle enough to be given to puppies as young as 8 weeks old and dog's weighing as little as 4 pounds or more.

USES

Kills adult fleas and is indicated for the treatment and prevention of flea infestations and the treatment and control of Black-legged tick, American dog tick, Lone Star tick and Brown dog tick infestations in dogs and puppies 8 weeks of age and older, weighing 4 pounds of body weight or greater, for one month.

POSSIBLE SIDE EFFECTS

NexGard (Afoxolaner) is for use in dogs only. The most frequently reported adverse reactions include vomiting, itching, lethargy, diarrhea and lack of appetite. The safe use of NexGard in pregnant, breeding or lactating dogs has not been evaluated. Use with caution in dogs with a history of seizures or neurologic disorders.

DRUG & FOOD INTERACTIONS

In a well-controlled field study, NexGard was used concomitantly with other medications, such as vaccines, anthelmintics, antibiotics (including topicals), st*roids, nonst*roidal anti-inflammatory drugs (NSAIDs), anesthetics and antihistamines. No adverse reactions were observed from the concomitant use of NexGard with other medications. For specific questions about your dog, we recommend that you consult with your veterinarian.
